Ada Bekwarra II, Hon. Signor Omang Idiege has congratulated Governor Prince Bassey Otu of Cross River State on his emergence as the Vice Chairman of the South-South Governors’ Forum. He expressed joy over the governor’s new leadership position, describing it as a well-deserved recognition of his efforts in governance.
The South-South Governors’ Forum, a platform that brings together governors from the region to discuss development and regional cooperation, recently elected Governor Douye Diri of Bayelsa State as the Chairman, while Governor Otu was chosen as the Vice Chairman.
In a statement, Ada Bekwarra II praised Governor Otu’s leadership style, saying his commitment to unity and progress in Cross River State and the South-South region has earned him the trust of his fellow governors.
Hon. Idiege expressed confidence that the governor will use this position to further promote peace, development, and economic growth in the region.
